Going to my first beauty event in London alone

Hi everyone,

It’s been a little while since I’ve written on here and to be honest I really missed it… So will try my best to keep it up now as I have so many blog post ideas and I’m so excited to get back to blogging again!

I recently went to a beauty event in London, it wasn’t only the first event I was invited to but I went on my own and I was so nervous as I knew that I had to go out of my comfort zone and talk to people I have never met before but I think in a way it really benefitted me as I know that if I would have gone with a friend then I wouldn’t have had to make the effort to get to know other people but I’m so glad that I have and if any of you ever get into a situation like that where you end up having to go to a social event alone then please don’t be afraid to, you’ll be grateful afterwards.

The event was organised by TheInfluencesDiary celebrating the launch of Sparties&Co which is a company who is a beauty event planning service for hen parties, birthdays, etc so check them out on instagram!

My first impression I got was that they are so supportive and caring, such good listeners and all so kind!

A launch party without a promo wall and a professional photographer wouldn’t be the same, got sent these by the girls a couple of days after the event.

I’m already really looking forward to the next event as I feel I have overcome my fear of going alone once. I was invited to another 2 events this week but unfortunately I’m working for a few days now… Maybe not so unfortunately I’m currently sat by the pool in LA writing this…
